Shipping within the contiguous United States
Standard shipping is $6.95 for one kit and free for two or more kits in the same order. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. We currently offer online checkout for the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC. Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, international addresses and PO boxes are not supported by this standard service. Contact us before ordering for other destinations.
When your order will arrive
Estimated delivery is 5-10 business days: allow 2-3 business days for processing and 3-7 business days for transit from our Los Angeles fulfillment partner. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Orders received after 2 p.m. Pacific Time start processing the following business day. These are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates; holidays, weather and carrier delays may affect timing. We will contact you if we learn of a significant delay.
30-day returns
For a change of mind, request a return within 30 days of delivery. Kits must be unused, complete and in their original packaging. Email support@sandcastlescience.com with your order email or reference before shipping anything back. We will provide return instructions and the correct return address. Please send the authorized return within 14 days of receiving those instructions.
Return postage and refunds
You pay return shipping for a change-of-mind return. We do not charge a restocking fee. Once we receive and inspect the return, we refund the product price and applicable product tax to the original payment method within 10 business days. Original outbound shipping charges are not refundable for a change of mind. Your bank may take additional time to post the refund.
Damaged, defective or incorrect items
Contact us promptly with your order reference and, where possible, photos of the problem. We will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund and cover any required return postage. These cases are handled even if the kit has been opened to discover the problem; the unused-item condition does not apply to a defective item. If a refund is appropriate, it includes the affected item and applicable original shipping charges.
Where to send a return
Only send a return to the address provided in your return instructions. Our registered business address and the address on a receipt are not automatically return destinations.
